All Seasons Energy has gone into liquidation —
here's what to do next
All Seasons Energy Ltd of Sheffield entered voluntary liquidation in January 2026. If your solar panels, battery, heat pump, or insulation were installed by All Seasons Energy — including through ECO4, Warm Homes Sheffield, or Green Homes Grant — your manufacturer warranties are unaffected, and if you have an insurance-backed guarantee your workmanship cover may still be valid. Here's the full picture.
We're an independent solar support company based in Yorkshire. We handle monitoring transfers, documentation recovery, fault diagnosis, and ongoing maintenance for solar PV and battery systems installed by companies that have closed — including All Seasons Energy. What happened to All Seasons Energy
All Seasons Energy Ltd was a Sheffield-based installer operating from 1a Meadowbrook Park, Halfway, S20 3PJ. They installed solar PV systems, air source heat pumps, and insulation across Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and nationally through government-backed energy efficiency schemes including ECO4, Warm Homes Sheffield, and the Green Homes Grant. The company held MCS, HIES, and TrustMark accreditations and had a team of installers working across the UK.

Act now on consumer protection. If your installation was completed while All Seasons Energy held HIES membership, check your paperwork for an insurance-backed guarantee (IBG) certificate and contact HIES to initiate a claim. Section 75 credit card claims also have time limits. If your installation was through ECO4 or Warm Homes Sheffield, contact your local council or the scheme administrator about remedial obligations.
What All Seasons Energy's liquidation means for your solar system
The company is gone, but your system isn't. Here's what's affected and what isn't.
Installer workmanship warranty — All Seasons Energy can no longer honour this directly. However, if your installation included an insurance-backed guarantee (IBG), that cover survives the installer's closure. IBGs are typically 2, 5, or 10 years depending on the level purchased — check your paperwork for a certificate. If you're outside the IBG period or didn't have one, workmanship faults will need an independent engineer.
Aftercare and support — gone. No one to call for system queries, monitoring help, firmware updates, or configuration changes.
Monitoring access — may be locked. If All Seasons Energy registered your inverter under their company account, the login has died with the business.
Scheduled maintenance — cancelled. Any service agreement or planned visits will not happen.
Insurance-backed guarantee (IBG) — if your installation came with one, this is specifically designed to survive installer closure. All Seasons Energy were HIES members, and HIES-backed IBGs can be claimed through the HIES consumer protection scheme. Check your installation paperwork for an IBG certificate.
Manufacturer warranties — fully valid. Your inverter, battery, and panels each have separate manufacturer warranties that are independent of the installer. Claim directly with the manufacturer.
Government scheme protections — if your installation was completed under ECO4, Warm Homes Sheffield, or Green Homes Grant, TrustMark-registered installations carry additional protections. Contact the scheme administrator about remedial obligations.
Your generation data — safe on the manufacturer's servers. Monitoring data is not lost when the installer account closes — it just needs to be transferred to your own account.
MCS registration — permanent. If All Seasons Energy registered your installation with MCS, that record is independent and searchable at mcscertified.com.
Installed through ECO4, Warm Homes, or Green Homes Grant?
All Seasons Energy completed a significant number of installations through government-backed energy efficiency programmes, particularly in Sheffield and South Yorkshire. If yours was one of them, you have additional protections beyond the standard installer warranty.
ECO4 installations are funded by energy companies and must be completed by TrustMark-registered installers. The energy company that funded your installation has ongoing obligations. Contact them (check your original paperwork or your energy bill) to report that the installer has closed and ask about remedial arrangements.
All Seasons Energy worked in partnership with Sheffield City Council under the Warm Homes Sheffield programme. Contact Sheffield City Council's energy team to report that the installer has entered liquidation. The council may have obligations to arrange alternative support or remedial work through another accredited installer.
TrustMark-registered installations carry a guarantee under the TrustMark Framework Operating Requirements. If the installation was logged on the TrustMark data warehouse, this guarantee may provide an additional route for addressing workmanship issues. Check your paperwork for a TrustMark reference number.
Five steps to recover your All Seasons Energy system
Work through these in order. Consumer protection and financial claims have time limits, so start there before moving to the technical recovery.
First, check your installation paperwork for an insurance-backed guarantee (IBG) certificate — if you have one, this is designed to cover workmanship faults when an installer ceases trading. IBGs are typically 2, 5, or 10 years. All Seasons Energy were HIES members, so contact HIES to check your cover and initiate a claim. If your install was through ECO4 or Warm Homes Sheffield, contact the scheme administrator. If you paid by credit card, contact your card issuer about a Section 75 claim. These all have time limits — act first.
Before spending money on anything, find out what state the system is actually in. A remote diagnostic (£75) gives you a structured assessment: is the system generating, are there faults, what's the monitoring status, and what needs attention. This becomes your action plan.
All Seasons Energy installed across Sheffield and South Yorkshire, and many of their systems were registered under the company's installer account. You'll need the inverter serial number and proof of address to transfer it. If your system was installed through ECO4 or Warm Homes Sheffield, the monitoring setup may have been done differently — our Monitoring Account Transfer service handles all scenarios, or follow the step-by-step guide.
All Seasons Energy installations — particularly ECO4 and Warm Homes Sheffield jobs — should have come with an MCS certificate, DNO notification, and TrustMark registration. If they didn't hand these over, search mcscertified.com for your MCS certificate and contact Northern Powergrid to confirm the DNO notification. For government scheme installs, your council may also hold records. Our Documentation Recovery guide covers everything.
All Seasons Energy systems are relatively new, but government scheme installs can sometimes have rushed commissioning. An independent annual maintenance visit verifies the system is properly configured, checks for any early faults, and gives you a baseline performance report you can compare year-on-year. From £195 per year.

All Seasons Energy can no longer honour their installer workmanship warranty directly. However, if your installation came with an insurance-backed guarantee (IBG), that cover is designed to survive installer closure. IBGs are typically 2, 5, or 10 years depending on the level purchased — check your paperwork for a certificate. All Seasons Energy were HIES members, and HIES-backed IBGs can be claimed through the HIES consumer protection scheme. Separately, manufacturer warranties on your inverter, battery, and panels are completely independent and remain valid. Warranty claim guide →
Installations completed under government-backed schemes like ECO4 and Warm Homes Sheffield have additional protections. The equipment manufacturer warranties remain valid regardless. TrustMark-registered installations also carry a TrustMark Framework Operating Requirements guarantee. If problems arise with the installation quality, contact the scheme administrator (your local council for Warm Homes, or the energy company for ECO4) as they may have obligations to arrange remedial work through an alternative installer.
If All Seasons Energy registered your system under their installer account, your monitoring access may have stopped working when the company closed. The data is still on the manufacturer's servers. You need to contact the manufacturer with your inverter serial number and proof of address to transfer the system to your own homeowner account. Monitoring recovery guide →
This page focuses primarily on solar PV and battery storage systems, which is our area of expertise. For heat pump support, you will need a heat pump specialist engineer. However, the general guidance on insurance-backed guarantees, HIES consumer protection, Section 75 claims, and documentation recovery applies equally to heat pump installations. If All Seasons Energy also installed solar panels alongside your heat pump, we can help with the solar side.
