Ideal for
How it works
Tell us your system details
Brand, system serial number or inverter MAC address, installation date, and your current situation — previous owner's account active, locked out, or installer registered. Takes about two minutes.
We tell you exactly what documents are needed
Every brand has different requirements. We give you a brand-specific checklist. Most people can gather everything in 10 minutes: proof of address, ownership docs, serial number, possibly an inverter label photo.
We submit via direct escalation channels
We submit your documentation directly to our manufacturer contacts — not through standard customer portals where requests get lost. Our direct contacts get it processed, not queued.
Account transferred — you're in
Manufacturer confirms transfer complete. We send you your new login credentials or walk you through creating a new account. You now have full access to live monitoring, historical data, and all account settings.

Frequently asked
No. Transferring account ownership doesn't erase any data. All historical generation, export logs, and battery data remains in the system and accessible after transfer. GivEnergy and some others keep data indefinitely; Sunsynk and SolarEdge typically keep 3–5 years of detail. The transfer simply changes who can log in and manage the account — the underlying data is never lost.
Varies by brand. Typically: proof of address (utility bill, council tax bill, or bank statement with name and address), proof of property ownership (mortgage statement, deeds, or tenancy agreement), system serial number or inverter MAC address (found on the inverter label), and sometimes a photo of the inverter label itself. We give you a brand-specific checklist so you know exactly what's needed. Most people gather everything in under 10 minutes.
Usually yes, but it takes longer. If the installer registered the account under their company name or email address, the manufacturer will initially say only the original account holder can transfer it. We escalate using your proof of property ownership to demonstrate you're the rightful owner of the system. This typically takes 2–4 weeks instead of 3–7 days, but manufacturers will accept it when the evidence is presented correctly.
We'll escalate that claim. We have direct contacts at all major brands and know how to override that deflection. Manufacturers are required to transfer monitoring accounts to property owners — they just don't always volunteer that through front-line support. We push through the escalation using our direct contacts, bypassing the standard customer portal entirely.
You can try. Most brands have online account transfer forms or customer support portals. If you have all the documents and the installer didn't register under their company name, it often works smoothly. If you get rejected, stuck in escalation, or the manufacturer keeps asking for documents you've already provided — that's when paying £75 to get it resolved is worth it. Your choice: attempt it yourself first, or have us handle it with our direct escalation contacts and get it done.
